Shuttle Driver

This position is based in New Hampshire.

About the role

The Driver will provide transportation for SNHU students, faculty, and staff for multiple purposes throughout the school year and during the summer. You will have a schedule with potential for on-call transportation.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport SNHU students, faculty, and staff to areas on campus
• Perform a safety check on the vehicle before use
• Monitor van maintenance and schedule maintenance appointments
• Maintain fuel levels
• Responsible for general cleanliness of the vehicle
• Remove snow and other debris from the vehicle before driving
• Work with passengers on a professional level
• Work with students and faculty to arrange necessary transportation schedules
• Potential for additional transportation of students for travel abroad in the summer, driving students to Manchester Airport or Boston Airport, conference services events, and field trips
• Other responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

• 1-2 years of professional driving experience (e.g., shuttle, delivery, transportation, or fleet operations)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Hold a valid driver's license and be eligible to be insured by the university's auto insurance carrier

Pay

The hourly pay range for this position is $15.87 - $25.41. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience, and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations. The target hiring range is $17.54 - $23.74.
