Showroom Sales Rep.

Responsibilities

• Build meaningful and long-term customer relationships.
• Demonstrate comprehensive proficiency in stone, tile, and plumbing knowledge to align with design trends in the luxury market.
• Use “relationship selling” techniques through design consultations in residential new construction and high-end renovations to maximize selling opportunities.
• Host 3-5 in-house Lunch & Learns per branch per quarter focused on building relationships with associates, designers, builders, and partners.
• Attend 2 industry-related events per quarter.
• Conduct business development activities, including customer visits, prospecting, and active hunting for new business to build long-term, repeat business.
• Create, present, and sell product and design solutions.

• Capable of thriving in a varied-paced retail environment.
• Ability to develop long-lasting relationships in the local Architecture and Design community.
• Understand and regularly execute income-generating activities that deliver consistent financial results for both the company and the design consultant.
• Passion for design and highly driven to meet or exceed sales goals.
• Discern and coordinate colors, scale, and textures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly, outgoing personality.
• Positive outlook and self-motivated to clientele.
• Computer proficiency and desire to learn.
• Proven track record of success in sales.
• Polished image and career-minded professionalism.
• Ability to listen and translate customer wants into design choices.
• Bachelor’s degree in design or business discipline or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read blueprints.
