About the role

Roma Tile, established in 1982, is a family-owned business operating two locations in Massachusetts. We are a direct importer, distributor, and retailer of porcelain and ceramic tile and related materials. We are currently hiring a full-time salesperson for our retail showroom in Watertown, MA.

As a member of the Roma Tile Sales and Design team, you will assist clients in selecting ceramic tile, stone, and related products for their home improvement and building projects. You will work with homeowners, designers, and builders to cultivate their design ideas and bring them to reality.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in selecting ceramic tile, stone, and related products for home improvement and building projects.
• Work with homeowners, designers, and builders to develop and execute design ideas.
• Maintain a polite, courteous, and professional demeanor in a client-facing position.
• Demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills.
• Solve problems creatively while being attentive to client needs.

Requirements

• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and adaptability in a changing environment.
• Design acumen is preferred.

Schedule

• Requires one evening per week and Saturday hours.
• Employees receive one day off per week to compensate for evening and Saturday hours.
