About the role

Description TMS Manufacturing is a 100% Employee-Owned, industry-leading business with over 75 years of success. We are one of the largest distributors of natural stone slabs, poured-in-place terrazzo, and quartz surfacing. We are looking for a Full-Time, Permanent Showroom Design Representative.

Responsibilities

  • Greets clients in a professional friendly manner
  • Answers phones, book appointments, stock checks, assists fellow colleagues when needed
  • Performs customer service duties when needed
  • Builds effective relationships and trust with customers and potential customers by listening to their needs and informing them about products and services that are most appropriate to their situation
  • Responds to customer inquiries timely and appropriately
  • Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements

  • Friendly, outgoing, and welcoming personality
  • High school diploma, general education degree (GED), or related experience
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Proficient in order processing systems
  • Commitment to high standards
  • Able to multi-task and work effectively in a stressful atmosphere
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Able to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds
  • Versatile, flexible, and willing to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
  • Able to stand for long periods of time
  • Being detail-oriented with important information between Homeowners, designers/contractors, or fabricators
