Responsibilities
- Provide professional cocktail service to all guests in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Promote and document drink orders, reciting selections of “call” and “premium” brands as requested; pass orders to the bartender, garnish, and deliver to guests promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of guest areas and equipment, including removing empty glasses/bottles, cleaning ashtrays, emptying garbage, sweeping/mopping floors, and scrubbing/sanitizing equipment.
- Maintain proper and adequate bar set-up before, during, and after shifts.
- Listen and respond to guest inquiries using a positive, clear speaking voice.
- Interact with co-workers and guests in a professional and polite manner.
- Perform any other duties as assigned within the scope of this position.
Requirements
- Minimum one year of experience as a cocktail server or restaurant server, or a combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must maintain a valid Alcohol Awareness card.
- Flexible to work all shifts, including holidays, nights, and weekends as business needs dictate.
Skills
- Friendly and personal interaction with guests.
- Enthusiastic support and demonstration of superior guest service in accordance with company standards.
- Awareness of property events and activities; ability to communicate consistent, accurate, and timely information to guests.
- Proficiency in simple reading, writing, and complex math.
- Strong task completion skills, including compiling, coordination, analyzing, following instructions, influencing others, memorization, problem-solving, independent judgment, and decision-making.
Physical Demands
The role requires constant standing, walking, reaching overhead, bending, crouching, kneeling, and balancing during shifts. Must be able to:
- Lift/carry up to 10 lbs frequently and up to 25 lbs occasionally.
- Perform repetitive motions with both feet, the dominant hand, and occasional use of the non-dominant hand.
- Engage in constant light grasping and occasional firm/strong grasping motions.
- Use finger dexterity frequently for both hands.
- Maintain constant use of vision abilities, including distance, depth perception, field of vision, and color vision.

Work Environment
- Work performed indoors, alone or frequently with others.
- Face-to-face interactions, including verbal contact, during extended shifts in confined areas around computer equipment.
