Showroom Cocktail Server

Responsibilities

• Provide professional cocktail service to all guests in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Promote and document drink orders, reciting selections of “call” and “premium” brands as requested; pass orders to the bartender, garnish, and deliver to guests promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of guest areas and equipment, including removing empty glasses/bottles, cleaning ashtrays, emptying garbage, sweeping/mopping floors, and scrubbing/sanitizing equipment.
• Maintain proper and adequate bar set-up before, during, and after shifts.
• Listen and respond to guest inquiries using a positive, clear speaking voice.
• Interact with co-workers and guests in a professional and polite manner.
• Perform any other duties as assigned within the scope of this position.

Requirements

• Minimum one year of experience as a cocktail server or restaurant server, or a combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must maintain a valid Alcohol Awareness card.
• Flexible to work all shifts, including holidays, nights, and weekends as business needs dictate.

Physical Demands

The role requires constant standing, walking, reaching overhead, bending, crouching, kneeling, and balancing during shifts. Must be able to:

• Lift/carry up to 10 lbs frequently and up to 25 lbs occasionally.
• Perform repetitive motions with both feet, the dominant hand, and occasional use of the non-dominant hand.
• Engage in constant light grasping and occasional firm/strong grasping motions.
• Use finger dexterity frequently for both hands.
• Maintain constant use of vision abilities, including distance, depth perception, field of vision, and color vision.

Work Environment

• Work performed indoors, alone or frequently with others.
