COCKTAIL SERVER

About the role

The Cocktail Server provides beverage service ensuring excellent customer service and a professional environment to increase customer loyalty.

Responsibilities

• Provide proper and professional cocktail service to all guests in a friendly and timely manner.
• Promote and record orders for drinks, reciting selections of all “call” and “premium” brands as requested; pass orders to Bartender, properly garnish, and deliver to customers promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness of guest areas.
• Maintain exceptional knowledge of bar recipes, preparing cocktails and other drinks including wine and beer.
• Check identification of guests to verify age requirements for alcohol purchase.
• Greet guests in a polite and friendly manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Responsibly monitor alcohol consumption to ensure guest safety.
• Work in areas containing secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights, and dust.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous cocktail service experience preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must comply with all health codes and regulations.
• Knowledge of casino environment preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of liquor and cocktail service.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Must be flexible and able to work all shifts and weekends.
• Must have and maintain Alcohol Compliance or TIPS training.
• Must possess or obtain required Alcohol Certification.

Skills

• Proficiency with the Info Genesis System.
