Shop Service Technician 4 - Heavy Equipment

Holt CAT in Anna, Texas is looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment-Shop Service Technician. This position is responsible for providing high-quality repair service on heavy equipment in a shop environment, to respond to customer needs in a positive, caring, and timely manner and to ensure maximum value for work performed. The role is based at 451 E. Outer Loop Road, Anna, Texas 75409 and operates Monday‑Friday, 7 AM – 4 PM. Holt CAT is the authorized Caterpillar® heavy equipment and engine dealer for 118 counties in Texas, with a legacy of quality, integrity, and commitment to customer service.

Responsibilities

• Models, promotes, reinforces, and rewards the consistent use of HOLT’s Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools, models, and processes to ensure alignment with our Vision, Values, and Mission
• Troubleshoots and diagnoses equipment malfunctions and failures
• Disassembles and assembles of machine components to manufacturer’s specifications through the use of hand tools, pneumatic tools, and any specialized tooling
• Rebuilds, repairs, reconditions, and maintains equipment and components
• Demonstrates good customer relations and support; communicates customer needs to shop management
• Plans and controls cost of repair jobs
• Completes parts orders and identifies parts for return
• Provides a significant amount of task and behavior-oriented mentoring, and training to others
• Maintains all equipment and work areas – keeps in good, clean, and orderly condition
• Completes all documents associated with repairs in a timely manner
