This full-time, non-exempt Assembler position is based in Canonsburg, PA. The ideal candidate will prioritize safety, possess basic knowledge of tools and equipment, and thrive in a team-oriented, customer service-driven environment with hands-on manufacturing experience, preferably in an industrial setting.

Responsibilities

  • Able to read mechanical drawings (knowledge of piping a plus).
  • Apply strong math skills (working with both fractions and metrics).
  • Demonstrate attention to detail (work demands high tolerances, fit, and finish).
  • Problem-solve by interpreting drawings and spatial relationships.
  • Follow directions with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrate mechanical skills, including:
    • Use of power tools: drill, press, band saw, cut-off saw, pipe threader, electric drill, etc.
    • Use of measuring tools, such as a tape measure, spirit level, plumb bob, etc.
    • Use of hand tools: wrenches, ratchets, pliers, screwdrivers, etc.
  • Maintain a positive attitude, communicate well with others, and be an effective team member.
  • Apply strong organizational skills.
  • Carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form using common sense understanding.
  • Ensure safety in the workplace by:
    • Attending monthly safety meetings as required.
    • Notifying manager immediately (within 24 hours) of workplace injury and following appropriate policies and procedures.
    • Reporting potential safety hazards immediately to the manager.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Two (2) or more years of experience working in a mechanical and industrial environment.
  • Mechanical aptitude in an industrial work environment.
  • Welding experience a plus.
  • Electrical experience a plus.

Physical Demands

  • Lifting, carrying, and moving up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to climb ladders and work at heights.
  • Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while on site.
  • High degree of concentration in a busy area.
