Machine Shop Assembler

About the Role

As an Assembler, you will machine, assemble, paint, test, finish, and crate boiler parts and sub-assemblies. You will operate various tools and machinery, perform quality and safety checks, install burners, and maintain a clean work environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle materials, set up tooling, and support machining, painting, and assembly processes.
• Assemble cast iron, purchased parts, and refractory materials; spray paint components.
• Install and troubleshoot burners, perform testing, and prepare boilers for shipment.
• Support work area housekeeping and safety procedures.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to perform material calculations and work in demanding manufacturing environments.
• Physical capability to lift 50-75 lbs, stand, bend, and use PPE as needed.
• Preferred experience in manufacturing or melting processes.
