Shop Foreman - Applied Controls

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the company’s Production Operations
• Contribution and Oversight to:
• Conduit & Wire routing & assembly
• Electrical Wiring
• PLC & Control Wiring
• General Assembly
• Aid in managing Inventory Levels for consumable items
• Develop and implement internal processes to drive project execution efficiencies
• Collaborate with Operations on current & future shop loading needs
• Vendor and sub-supplier performance monitoring for quality, delivery, and responsiveness
• Mentor and develop team members to enhance skills and leadership

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Assembly, Electrical, Controls, or similar roles
• Experience in People and Project Management
• Strong customer focus and relationship-building skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
• Proficiency in project management and process improvement
• Leadership and team management experience
• Technical understanding of relevant products and services
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Ability to collaborate across departments and mentor team members

Work Environment

• This role operates in a professional office environment and standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers are used.
• Occasional visits to warehouses or operational sites may be required.

About the Role

Lead and manage the ACSS shop personnel and production efforts. The Shop Foreman will report to the Production Manager and manage shop technicians. They will oversee and contribute to project assembly & execution, shop maintenance, and collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and Service personnel.
