Shipping & Receiving Coordinator

Sun Country Airlines is an agile and resilient airline with a strong commitment to its community. We offer a wide range of services, from scheduled flights to charter and cargo operations. As a Shipping & Receiving Coordinator, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our maintenance activities.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage the shipping of aircraft parts and related materials
- Obtain multiple quotes for fiscal responsibility
- Code all shipments accurately to track business unit expenses
- Monitor loans, borrows, and exchanges to ensure timely shipment and meet contract requirements
- Perform initial receiving of incoming materials
- Communicate order receiving discrepancies to the appropriate Buyer/Repair Coordinator
- Determine best shipment method and track materials being shipped to outstations, COMAT, consignment inventory, and off-site storage facilities
- Ensure parts are handled and stored properly to prevent damage and contamination
- Prepare shipping documents, including bills of lading, packing slips, and shipping labels
- Maintain electronic files with current revision of Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
- Address any customer inquiries or complaints related to shipping and logistics
- Use best practices to fiscally coordinate and safely pack materials for shipments
Qualifications
- High School diploma
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to obtain MSP SIDA Badge
- Proficiency in various computer programs
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
- Ability to work independently without supervision
- Read, write, and understand English
- Very good oral and written communication and problem-solving skills

Pay
$22.00-25.00 USD per hour
