About the role

The Shipping & Receiving Coordinator is responsible for coordinating product movement, scheduling deliveries, inventory and documents to assure their accuracy and completion. Facilitates activities for workers concerned with ordering, receiving, storing, inventory, and shipping materials. Coordinates and expedites flow of materials in and out of plant by performing the following duties.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate activities for workers concerned with ordering, receiving, storing, inventory, and shipping materials.
  • Capture paperwork for all shipments received.
  • Review records for accuracy of information and compliance.
  • Document shipping and receiving paperwork.
  • Fills out shippers, verify load sheets, driver sign-in sheets (as needed), and Customs cargo control document.
  • Maintain all shipping/receiving documents.
  • Affirm the internal and external flow of raw materials and finished product are maintained.
  • Properly completes assigned paperwork.
  • Compiles and maintains daily inventory and location of materials.
  • Maintain warehouse layout and white board.
  • Miscellaneous related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • At least 2 years relevant warehouse experience
  • Techically oriented and knowledgeable in manufacturing systems
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to multitask in fast paced environment
  • Proficient in computer programs: SAP, Microsoft Office

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • At least 2 years relevant warehouse experience

Skills

Pay

$22/hr DOE

Schedule

Mon-Fri 6am-3pm

Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • Lifting Requirements: 0 – 100+ lbs.
  • Vision Requirements: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
  • Constant: Lift and/or move up to 15lbs.
  • Frequent: Sit, stand and walk.
  • Lift and/or move up to 50lbs.
  • Environment: Exposed to high levels of noise, recyclable debris and smell.
