About the role

Daher is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Coordinator to support the efficient flow of materials throughout our manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for receiving, storing, moving, and shipping materials that support aircraft production and operational needs.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders, packing slips, and shipping documentation.
  • Process inventory transactions and maintain accurate inventory records within company systems.
  • Package, prepare, and coordinate shipments in accordance with company, customer, and carrier requirements.
  • Maintain organized warehouse, stockroom, and inventory storage locations.
  • Participate in cycle counts, physical inventories, and inventory reconciliation activities.
  • Identify, investigate, and help resolve inventory discrepancies, damaged materials, and shipping issues.
  • Cook with Production, Planning, Procurement, Quality, and other cross-functional teams to ensure material availability and efficient workflow.
  • Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment as trained and authorized.
  • Maintain compliance with FAA, AS9100, company quality standards, and workplace safety requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance inventory accuracy, material flow, operational efficiency, and customer service.
  • Assist with shipping documentation, freight coordination, audit preparation, and other logistics-related activities as needed.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience in shipping, receiving, warehousing, inventory control, logistics, material handling, manufacturing, or a related field.
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to learn ERP, inventory management, and shipping systems.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize work, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to changing business needs.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work effectively across departments.
  • Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment when resolving routine issues.
  • Ability to read and understand work instructions, shipping documentation, and inventory records.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods of time.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, reliability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Preferred qualifications include:
  • Experience in a manufacturing, aerospace, or other production-focused environment.
  • Forklift certification or experience operating material handling equipment.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as Workday, SAP, Oracle, or similar inventory management platforms.
  • Knowledge of inventory control, warehouse operations, and material flow best practices.
  • Experience with domestic and international shipping requirements, freight coordination, and shipping documentation.
  • Familiarity with FAA, AS9100, export compliance, traceability requirements, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Experience conducting cycle counts, inventory audits, and inventory reconciliation activities.
  • Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or process improvement activities.
  • Associate's degree or bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Operations, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to train, mentor, or provide guidance to other team members.
