About the role

FARO Services, Inc., founded in 1988 in Columbus, Ohio, has expanded to offer diversified 3rd party logistics services across multiple locations including Dallas, TX, Rancho Cucamonga, CA, Chicago, IL, and Columbus OH.

Responsibilities

• Checks in Drivers looks up shipments provided by drivers and directs them to the appropriate dock doors for unloading of product.
• Verifies BOL(s) and manifest paperwork for inbounds to determine if all the freight was received or if there are discrepancies (overages, shortages, damages).
• Ensures proper identification and labeling of freight as it is received.
• Produces ASN files for inbounds and outbound shipments.
• Answers incoming calls from drivers and gives directions to the facility.
• Maintains communication between customers and carriers through emails.
• Keeps a daily on hand report.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills both written and verbal.
• Proficient in MS Excel and Word.
• Strong attention to detail and quick problem solver.
• Regular and satisfactory attendance and punctuality are a must.

Pay

$17.00 per hour
