Shipping Clerk
About the Role
Novolex is seeking a Shipping Clerk to join our team in Cedar Rapids. This role involves using FedEx, UPS, and/or LTL truck shipping software to affix shipping labels on packages for our aftermarket parts business.
Responsibilities
- Use FedEx, UPS, and/or LTL truck shipping software to print labels for packages shipping out to customers.
- Organize packages/shipments by customer.
- Understand shipping requirements specified by customers and take action accordingly.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of shipping experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficient with computers; experience using FedEx or UPS shipping software is beneficial.
- Strong organization skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities.
Pay
- Starting pay rate: $26.36/hour
- 3 months: $26.72/hour
- 6 months: $27.01/hour
- 9 months: $27.27/hour
- 12 months: $27.65/hour
Schedule
Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm (climate-controlled environment).
