Shipping and Receiving Technician

Duties And Responsibilities

• Fill customer orders per standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Ensure that products processed for shipping are delegated to the correct courier.
• Receive and inspect incoming raw materials per SOPs.
• Document daily receiving log.
• Absorb and assist in organizing warehouse inventory.
• Routine inventory counts.
• Maintain good records of warehouse activities.
• Apply applicable labels to the inventory items in the warehouse.
• Maintain and organize adequate shipping supplies.
• Use manual and electric pallet jackets as needed.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment in Shipping/Receiving area.
• Assist in other areas as needed and performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 4+ years’ experience in Shipping/Receiving.
• Good understanding of warehouse management procedures.
• Detail-oriented, efficient and a team player.
• Experience working in ISO 13485 and GMP environment is a plus.
• Experience working with major shippers: FedEx, UPS and DHL highly desired.
• Computer literate. Proficient with MS Office/Windows.
• Available to work extended hours.
• Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Pay

The base salary range for this full-time position is $25/hour - $30/hour + bonus + equity + benefits.
