Shipper Receiver - 2nd Shift

Responsibilities

Responsible for the safe operation of a forklift operator to include:

• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using forklifts.
• Verify load accuracy; check the load count, stability, and product damage, report variances as necessary.
• Using a calculator for basic math to calculate daily production
• Ability to work mandatory overtime as required.
• Perform general housekeeping duties in an effort to support safety and quality standards

Requirements

The following are required for this position:

• Six months forklift operation experience.
• Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment.
• Must have reliable transportation and outstanding attendance.
• Ability & willingness to work safely & wear PPE as required.
• Basic understanding of warehouse operations, and safety rules.
• Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled work environment in a manufacturing plant.

Qualifications

Prior manufacturing experience is preferred but not required. The ideal candidate will have a positive, can do attitude and the ability to report to work on time every day.

Compensation

The base hourly rate for this position is $21.01.
