Responsibilities

• Safely make blends
• Calculate transfer volumes
• Transfer materials from tank to tank
• Load railcars, trucks, and other containers
• Fill, stack, and load/unload drums and totes
• Maintain shipping areas
• Inventory products
• Inspect bulk containers
• Operate forklifts and drum pickers
• Perform basic troubleshooting
• Run maintenance repairs
• Prepare equipment for maintenance
• Blend products to required specifications
• Manage daily work schedule, assuring that product is shipped on time with the correct documentation
• Input information into the ERP system correctly and timely
• Provide leadership and safe practices in all job tasks by maintaining responsibility for safety and environmental compliance
• Maintain work area to the highest degree of cleanliness and comply with all environmental requirements
• Input information into the ERP system correctly and timely

Requirements

• A High School Diploma or equivalent
• Training and certification in the safe operation of forklifts and other motorized equipment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience loading bulk chemicals in trucks, railcars, and drums
• Working knowledge of ERP system
• Ability to wear PPE as needed including, but not limited to, eye/face protection, foot protection, gloves, hearing protection and head protection

Skills and Competencies

• Strong computer skills including, but not limited to, Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
• Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels, both internally and externally, written and orally
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to overcome obstacles and make good decisions
• The ability to routinely lift, carry and push items up to 50 lbs. in weight, as well as the ability to sit, stand, walk, and climb stairs and ladders over long periods of
