About the Role

Prepare and inspect gearbox units including parts and parts orders for shipment to customers while ensuring the units and parts are packaged according to customer specifications.

Responsibilities

• For painted units, remove all tape and prepping material.
• Add nameplates, assembly lids, and hardware as required by order.
• Package and weigh units.
• Using the NORD Gear Warehouse Management System (SAP), prepare shipments.
• Prepare and package parts orders.
• Clean work and storage area, check inventories.
• Assist prep and paint area when requested.
• Other duties as requested.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of experience preferred but not required.
• Experience utilizing SAP preferred.
• Experience with 5S.

Skills

• Ability to read and write.
• Basic math skills.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for 8–10 hours per day.
