About the role

The Shift Supervisor plays a crucial role in supporting the Store Leadership Team on the sales floor. Their primary duties include supervising store staff, ensuring high levels of customer engagement, and driving sales.

Responsibilities

• Supports Store Management in generating sales potential by being present on the sales floor and setting a positive tone.
• Holds store keys to open and close the store without management.
• Manages rest and meal break schedules and ensures coverage across all zones.
• Provides feedback, coaching, and redirection to improve customer engagement, selling, and sales floor etiquette.
• Maintains store standards and merchandising.
• Escalates performance concerns to the Store Manager.
• Motivates and inspires associates to build brand loyalty and maintain a positive store environment.
• Assists with store security, including bag checks and fitting room monitoring.
• Ensures staff are treated professionally, courteously, and respectfully.
• Processes return/exchange transactions, authorizes promotions, and handles employee sales.
• Escalates performance concerns to the Store Manager.
• Represents the company in a professional and positive manner.

Requirements

• Able to lift 50 lbs. without restrictions.
• Able to stand/walk for extended periods.
• Able to perform repetitive motions such as hanging, folding, and ringing up customers.
• Able to use caution when dealing with difficult customers, houseless, and transients.
• Able to perform store maintenance tasks like sweeping, vacuuming, emptying trash, and cleaning.
• Able to use and climb ladders and step stools.
• Able to lift large and heavy packages and boxes rapidly and constantly.
• Able to perform tasks in a noisy environment.
• Able to work in an adult content environment.
• At least 18 years old.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of key holder experience in a retail setting preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Available to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday).
• Commitment to two store closings per week, including one being Friday or Saturday.
• Ability to use and operate a retail POS system and inventory scanner.
• Ability to make change using American monetary units.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build positive working relationships.
• Completion of the Shift Supervisor three-month training program.
