Shift Manager- STARTING AT $15 PER HOUR WITH EXPERIENCE

About the Role

This position is with an independent franchisee that operates a restaurant using McDonald’s branding and food products. The franchisee is the sole employer and is responsible for all employment matters, including hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling. The role is a Shift Manager position that leads shifts to ensure a fast, accurate, and friendly customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize each shift’s activities.
• Monitor crew performance and take action to meet McDonald’s standards.
• Communicate shift information to the next Shift Manager for a smooth hand‑off.
• Ensure food safety and quality food production.
• Maintain internal communication and inventory management.
• Oversee daily maintenance, cleanliness, and overall store cleanliness.
• Manage crew scheduling, training, and development.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Monitor safety, security, and profitability during the shift.
• Help assigned departments meet their performance goals.
• Perform cleaning and organizing tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.
• Positive team player with a flexible schedule.
• Passion for working in a fast‑paced environment.
• Must be 18 years of age or older to serve as a manager.
