About the role

Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. They provide leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to maintain high standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. Shift Managers handle various tasks such as planning for each shift, monitoring performance, ensuring compliance with McDonald’s standards, managing safety and security, communicating with the next Shift Manager, and meeting targets.

Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor shifts to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain high standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness.
• Ensure compliance with McDonald’s standards and policies.
• Communicate effectively with the next Shift Manager to prepare for the next shift.
• Manage inventory, daily maintenance, and cleanliness.
• Train and supervise the crew.
• Monitor and manage food safety.
• Manage staff schedules and ensure staffing levels.
• Handle exceptional customer service situations.
• Ensure safety and security protocols are followed.

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting.
• A positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility with a willingness to adapt to a demanding schedule.
• Ability to communicate effectively and motivate a team.
• Age 18 or older.
