Shift Manager - $15-$18 per hour depending on availability & experience
About the role
Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. They provide leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to maintain high standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. Shift Managers handle various tasks such as shift planning, performance monitoring, safety and security oversight, and communication between shifts.
Responsibilities
- Plan and monitor shifts to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and quality standards across the restaurant.
- Ensure compliance with McDonald’s safety and security protocols.
- Communicate effectively with the next shift manager to prepare for their responsibilities.
- Meet and exceed departmental targets.
- Manage inventory levels and daily maintenance.
- Train new employees and enhance existing skills.
- Handle food safety and internal communications.
- Manage staff schedules and conduct disciplinary actions if necessary.
Requirements
- Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting.
- A positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility with a willingness to adapt to the unique demands of a restaurant.
- Ability to communicate effectively and manage a team.
- Age 18 or older.
Qualifications
