About the role

The Shift Manager assists the management team by ensuring guest satisfaction and overall restaurant performance on each and every shift. They are the "Every Shift" Leader! This position reports to the Assistant Manager or General Manager and supervises the restaurant employees.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guest satisfaction and overall restaurant performance on each shift
• Supervise restaurant employees
• Aid in the development and implementation of operational goals and objectives
• Manage inventory levels and food costs
• Oversee the preparation and presentation of food and beverages
• Handle cash transactions and ensure accurate record keeping
• Assist in training new employees
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of a positive work environment

Requirements

• Motivated, service-oriented employee with a high school education or GED
• Valid driver's license

Qualifications

• Experience in a leadership or supervisory role preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Knowledge of food service operations and safety standards
