About the role

The Shift Manager assists the management team by ensuring guest satisfaction and overall restaurant performance on each and every shift. They are the "Every Shift" Leader! This position reports to the Assistant Manager or General Manager and supervises the restaurant employees.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guest satisfaction and overall restaurant performance on each shift
• Supervise restaurant employees
• Assist in managing the restaurant during peak hours
• Oversee food preparation and service quality
• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly
• Manage inventory levels and ensure proper stock rotation
• Conduct daily operations meetings with staff
• Support the Assistant Manager or General Manager in strategic planning and decision-making

Requirements

• Motivated, service-oriented employee with a high school education or GED
• Valid driver’s license

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment is preferred
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
