About the role
The Shift Manager assists the management team by ensuring guest satisfaction and overall restaurant performance on each and every shift. They are the "Every Shift" Leader! This position reports to the Assistant Manager or General Manager and supervises the restaurant employees.Responsibilities
- Ensure guest satisfaction and overall restaurant performance on each shift.
- Supervise restaurant employees, providing guidance and support.
- Assist in managing the restaurant during peak hours and special events.
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of food and beverages to guests.
- Manage inventory levels and ensure proper stock rotation.
- Handle cash transactions and manage the restaurant’s financial operations.
- Communicate effectively with staff and management regarding operational issues.
- Conduct daily inspections of the restaurant to maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
Requirements
- Motivated, service-oriented employee with a high school education or GED.
- Valid driver's license required.
Qualifications
- Experience in a fast-paced service environment is preferred.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
