Shift Equipment Engineer ID1

The ID1 High Volume Manufacturing Shift Equipment Engineer is responsible for monitoring, sustaining, and improving semiconductor manufacturing equipment. They supervise tool performance, perform preventative maintenance, and troubleshoot mechanical, electronic, and software issues using skills in circuits, schematic diagrams, and process controls. Key duties include collaborating with process teams, analyzing data with SPC principles, driving root cause analysis, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives such as TPM. They ensure safety protocols, update procedures, and document maintenance activities thoroughly. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering (or related fields), knowledge of circuits, mechanical fundamentals, and software skills (e.g., Python, Java, MATLAB). Preferred skills encompass excellent communication, equipment understanding, process knowledge, and time management. Ability to work flexibly across shifts and in a cleanroom environment is essential. This hands-on role demands a strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving capabilities, and teamwork to optimize equipment uptime and fab performance.
