About the role

MTC operates the Earle C. Clements Job Corps Center in Morganfield, KY, providing quality services to local youth. The position involves supervision of student government, welfare fund of the student union, and voting services.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and supervise meetings for the Student Government Association (SGA).
• Maintain communication with administration regarding SGA.
• Guide the development of student government skills.
• Oversee the funding and welfare of the Student Union.
• Ensure compliance with state and local health regulations and safety requirements for the snack bar.
• Chaperone student government functions.
• Care for the snack bar's operation.
• Coordinate voting activities.

Requirements

• Associates degree preferred or two years of related experience working with youth.
• Must obtain ServSafe certification within 90 days of employment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and proficiency in computers are required.
• A valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record is required, unless waived by management.
