Responsibilities
- Schedule and lead meetings with sellers, servicers, MSR owners and internal business units to ensure milestones and deliverables are met
- Foster and preserve positive relationships
- Manage pre-and-post transfer activities between sellers/servicers and internal business units
- Maintain organized documentation of service transfer records
- Ensure compliance with CFPB Servicing Rules and other applicable regulations
- Monitor Servicing Transfer Inbox
- Partners with management to ensure all service transfer documentation are current/up to date (Policies, procedures, transfer instructions, project plans, etc.)
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement and developing best practices
- Take on additional roles as needed, training teammates and new team members
- Able to perform special projects along with managing daily responsibilities
- Incumbent will be responsible for meeting RoundPoint’s commitment to compliance
Qualifications
- Two years of Service Transfer experience or five years of experience in the mortgage servicing industry
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent work-related experience
- Experience managing mid to large scale projects
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to organize, prioritize and perform multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent written, presentation and oral communication skills
- Demonstrated willingness and ability to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
- Demonstrated project management and business analysis skills
- Highly motivated self-starter organized and disciplined
- Expertise at consensus and relationship building with internal and external stakeholders
About the Role
The Servicing Transfer Project Manager is responsible for managing the acquisition and release of mortgage loans to and from RoundPoint’s system. This role requires oversight of daily functions of servicing transfers, ensuring compliance with RESPA, Investor Guidelines, CFPB, and applicable laws. Collaboration with sellers, servicers, MSR owners, and internal business partners is key, including developing schedules, ensuring milestones are met, and addressing inquiries related to transfers.
