ServiceNow Discovery Specialist

About the role

A ServiceNow Discovery Specialist will implement, configure, and optimize ServiceNow Discovery solutions to automate infrastructure asset identification and maintain an accurate CMDB.

Responsibilities

• Configure and manage ServiceNow Discovery across enterprise environments.
• Install, configure, and maintain MID Servers.
• Create and manage Discovery schedules, credentials, probes, sensors, and patterns.
• Troubleshoot Discovery failures and optimize scan performance.
• Ensure accurate identification and classification of discovered Configuration Items (CIs).
• Support CMDB governance and data quality initiatives.
• Resolve CI duplication and reconciliation issues using IRE.
• Maintain CI relationships created through Discovery.
• Improve CMDB completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
• Implement discovery for:
  • Windows & Linux Servers
  • Network Devices
  • Databases
  • VMware & Virtualization Platforms
  • AWS, Azure, and GCP Cloud Environments

Pay

$90,000–$120,000 a year
