Job Summary: We are seeking a ServiceNow Architect to lead the design, governance, and long-term evolution of our ServiceNow platform across ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, SecOps, and custom applications. The role combines deep platform mastery with enterprise architecture judgment, driving standards for data, integration, security, and customization that keep the platform scalable, maintainable, and aligned with business priorities. The ideal candidate has architected ServiceNow at enterprise scale, can confidently shape multi-year roadmaps, and brings strong influence across engineering, business, and executive stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Define ServiceNow platform architecture spanning ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, SecOps, GRC, and custom application domainsLead architecture reviews, design approvals, and governance for changes across ServiceNow modulesEstablish standards for data model usage, custom-table creation, scoped applications, and CMDB designDrive CMDB strategy including discovery, service mapping, identification rules, and data quality programsArchitect integrations with enterprise systems via IntegrationHub, MID Servers, REST/SOAP APIs, and event-driven patternsDesign platform-wide security, role models, and ACL strategies that balance functionality with least-privilege principlesLead major platform upgrades, release management cycles, and platform health initiatives, planning safe rollouts, coordinating across teams, and driving improvements that keep the platform stable and current over timeEstablish reusable patterns for workflow design, Flow Designer adoption, and minimization of unnecessary customizationDrive performance, scalability, and instance-health improvements across the platform, using telemetry and load patterns to identify bottlenecks, prioritize the most impactful changes, and validate outcomes empiricallyPartner with business stakeholders to translate process needs into ServiceNow capabilities with appropriate trade-offsMentor developers, admins, and tech leads on ServiceNow best practicesCoordinate with security and compliance teams to ensure the platform meets regulatory obligationsProduce high-quality architecture artifacts — context diagrams, sequence diagrams, decision records, and reference designs — that capture key technical decisions clearly enough to be understood months or years laterStay current with ServiceNow roadmap, Now Assist / AI features, and broader platform evolution Required Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related fieldTen or more years of ServiceNow experience, with significant time in architecture or technical leadership rolesDeep expertise across multiple ServiceNow modulesStrong understanding of the ServiceNow data model, scripting, scoped apps, and platform internalsHands-on experience with IntegrationHub, REST APIs, and complex integration scenariosExperience designing CMDB, discovery, and service mapping implementationsStrong understanding of platform security, ACLs, and role design at scaleExperience leading major upgrades and release planningExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsServiceNow CTA, CIS, or CSA certifications Preferred Qualifications ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) credentialExperience with Now Assist, GenAI Controller, or AI-driven ServiceNow featuresExposure to multi-instance, multi-region ServiceNow deploymentsExperience integrating ServiceNow with major SaaS platforms (Workday, Salesforce, SAP)Familiarity with HAM Pro, SAM Pro, or App Engine Studio How To Apply Would you like to know more about this opportunity?
