Service/Warranty Administrator

Responsibilities

  • Process and administer warranty claims in accordance with company policies and manufacturer requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, service technicians, and manufacturers to resolve warranty issues efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records of warranty transactions and service operations.
  • Ensure all warranty documentation is complete, accurate, and submitted within specified timelines.
  • Follow up with manufacturers or suppliers on warranty claims and spare parts requisitions.
  • Cook up and maintain strong relationships with customers by providing exceptional service and support.
  • Analyze warranty claims for trends and inform management of findings for potential product improvements.
  • Aid in the preparation of reports on service and warranty activities as requested.

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in administration, business, or a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in a similar administrative or customer service role, preferably within the automotive industry.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office Suite and database management tools.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Problem-solving skills with a customer-focused approach.
