About the role
The Service Manager (Maintenance) is responsible for performing and overseeing the day-to-day maintenance operations of the assigned property to ensure that the overall physical aspects of the property meet the Company’s established standards and any applicable laws.
Responsibilities
- Schedule, monitor, and/or perform preventative maintenance at assigned property
- Cook up the day-to-day maintenance operations of the property
- Direct and supervise daily activities of the maintenance team, such as planning and preparing work schedules, assigning tasks, delegating work, monitoring progress and workflow, reviewing work for timeliness and accuracy, and appraising work performance
- Train and coach all maintenance team members
Requirements
- Comprehension of federal fair housing laws and any applicable local housing provisions
- Ability to comprehend and work within budgetary guidelines
- Knowledge of general property repairs, which may include, as applicable, the areas of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, dry walling, exterior structural, and appliances
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience in property management or maintenance
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Pay
The expected compensation range for this position is $33.00- $35.00, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
