Service Manager
Position Summary
The Service Manager is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of CraneWorks' Olathe, Kansas service department while driving a culture centered on safety, customer satisfaction, accountability, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Leading the day-to-day operations of the service department
- Driving a culture centered on safety, customer satisfaction, accountability, and operational excellence
- Providing leadership to service technicians, service advisors, field service personnel, and shop operations
- Ensuring the highest quality repairs and maintenance of cranes, boom trucks, truck-mounted equipment, and other heavy construction equipment
- Maximizing technician productivity and efficiency
- Achieving financial and operational goals
- Delivering an exceptional customer experience from initial service request through equipment delivery
- Partnering closely with Parts, Sales, Rental, and Operations to optimize workflow, improve profitability, and minimize customer downtime

Qualifications
- Proven track record of success in a similar role
- Experience managing a team of service technicians, service advisors, field service personnel, and shop operations
- Knowledge of crane and heavy equipment repair and maintenance procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for leading high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment
