Service Department Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Coordinate checkout flow, maintain front-end cleanliness and standards, and assign work for cashiers, service desk, and courtesy team members to meet productivity and service expectations.
• Drive strong customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and accountability for front-end performance through active coaching, labor utilization, and customer issue resolution.
• Communicate effectively with peer leadership for smooth handoff between shifts.
• Perform survival walk of the department and shift-to-shift hand-off when the team leader or area leader is not present.
• Coordinate and drive actions and activities involving the monitoring and control of shrink and financial business outcomes within areas of responsibility.
• Proactively escalate concerns to leadership as they arise.
• Champion participation in community programs.
• Lead by example with behaviors and team member resource group (TMRG) engagement.
• Serve as a certified trainer for team members in their span of care.
• Perform on-the-job/hands-on team member training and mentoring.
• Serve as subject matter expert for market programs, company pilots, and development/training programs.
• Assign tasks to team members within the department, in partnership with the team leader, and follow up to ensure task completion.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the Service Coordinator training curriculum (includes curriculums for Cashier, Service Desk, and Courtesy Team).
• Ability to operate cash register system and all financial services equipment.
• Good communication skills, friendly, customer oriented, organized, detail oriented, sense of urgency.
• Has organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
• This position may require lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, squatting, stooping, kneeling and/or climbing. The amount of weight or frequency of such activities may vary depending on a team member’s shift during the day, the day of the week, the month or season, and/or other staff on duty.
• Must be 18 years or older.
