Service Delivery Supervisor

About the role
The Service Delivery Supervisor is responsible for client/customer service and serves as a knowledge expert for the HIS staff. This role focuses on front-line people management and training, ensuring processes are completed in compliance with established guidelines. The Service Delivery Supervisor may also assist leadership with planning, developing, and implementing departmental or regional projects, and provides support to the Service Delivery Manager.
Key responsibilities include maintaining workflow and productivity of HIS staff, handling escalated situations, driving a positive work environment, assisting in the new hire process, meeting with clients, and developing staff at multiple sites.
Responsibilities
- Lead teams, managing workflow and maintaining quality assurance expectations for clients and Service Delivery teams.
- Document information on multiple platforms using two computer monitors.
- Communicate and collaborate with leadership on issues, opportunities, or challenges.
- Lead an Audit Team that receives requests from payors, review data, and provide client and leadership solutions.
- Bring new ideas, process improvement suggestions, and feedback to internal stakeholders.
- Manage requests coming in from the Risk Management Team of the client.
- Lead client locations and plan for fluctuating needs.
- Oversee escalation calls from centralized call centers.
- Participate in project teams and committees to advance operational strategies and initiatives.
- Coordinate with location/client management on complex issues while building strong relationships.
Requirements

- Ability to support clients and your team working both on-site and remotely.
- 1-2 years of Health Information related experience.
- Well-versed with HIPAA standards.
- A knack for presenting to leadership, clients, and your team via video or in person.
- Solution-oriented and forward-thinking.
- Detail and quality-oriented as it relates to accurate and compliant information for medical records.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of leadership, customer service, and data entry/release of information/HIM experience.
- EMR experience with Epic or Cerner.
- Previous production/metric-based work experience.
- Team-building experience and a track record of elevating individuals’ careers.
- Proficiency in Power BI and MS Office.

Pay
The estimated base pay range for this role is $23.05—$29.42 USD per hour, depending on location, responsibilities, skills, and experience.
Schedule
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Vancouver, Washington.
Additional Notes
To ensure the safety of patients and staff, many clients require post-offer health screenings and proof/completion of vaccinations (e.g., flu shot, Tdap, COVID-19). Exemption requests will be reviewed by Datavant Human Resources on a case-by-case basis, depending on state regulations and applicable legal protections.
