Service Delivery Supervisor

About the role
The Service Delivery Supervisor is responsible for client/customer service and serves as a knowledge expert for the HIS staff. This role focuses on front-line people management and training, as well as ensuring processes are completed in compliance with established guidelines. The Service Delivery Supervisor may also assist leadership with planning, developing, and implementing departmental or regional projects, and provides support to the Service Delivery Manager.
This role will maintain workflow and productivity of HIS staff, handle escalated situations, and drive a positive work environment. The Service Delivery Supervisor will assist in the new hire process, meet with clients, and develop staff at multiple sites.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team processing medical records, including taking calls from patients, insurance companies, and attorneys to provide medical records status.
- Document information on multiple platforms using two computer monitors.
- Communicate and collaborate with leadership on issues, opportunities, or challenges.
- Lead the Audit Team which receives requests from payors.
- Review data and provide client and leadership solutions.
- Bring new ideas, process improvement suggestions, and feedback to internal stakeholders.
- Manage requests coming in from the Risk Management Team of the client.
- Lead client locations and plan for fluctuating needs.
- Oversee escalation calls from centralized call centers.
- Participate in project teams and committees to advance operational strategies and initiatives.
- Coordinate with location/client management on complex issues while building strong relationships.
Requirements

- Ability to support clients and your team working both on-site and remotely.
- 1-2 years of health information-related experience.
- Well-versed with HIPAA standards.
- A knack for presenting to leadership, clients, and your team via video or in person.
- Solution provider and forward-thinking.
- Detail and quality-oriented as it relates to accurate and compliant information for medical records.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 years of leadership, medical records, customer service, and release of information experience.
- EMR experience with Epic or Cerner.
- Previous production/metric-based work experience.
- Team building and experience elevating individuals’ careers.
- Proficiency in Power BI and MS Office.

Pay
The estimated base pay range per hour for this role is $21.25—$27.13 USD.
Schedule
Full-time: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
Location
This role will support onsite in Farmington, Connecticut.
