Job Summary
The Service Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of service work orders for the Generator Department.
Essential Job Functions
- Schedule service technicians daily in an efficient manner
- Respond to incoming service related calls
- Aid external customers with their service needs
- Prepare quotations of all service related projects and follow up on a weekly basis
- Monitor all daily invoicing and work in progress (WIP) report on a daily basis
- Work closely with the parts department to ensure all parts are available for technicians' service jobs
- Monitor and schedule all periodic maintenance agreements
- Input service data in business operating systems
Additional Job Functions
- May be required to support other departments during special circumstances such as vacation coverage
- Assist parts department by maintaining organization of parts and workflow in Jacksonville shop
- Assist with other parts department duties, including but not limited to, warehouse tasks such as forklift operation, cleanliness of warehouse, putting away stock orders, loading and unloading truck shipments, & preparing shipment of parts via UPS
Required Experience
- Computer literacy is required, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Working knowledge of a Windows based business system or FieldServio is preferred
- Incorporate time management skills on a continuous basis
- Skilled in the areas of interpersonal communication, organization, accuracy, and professional verbal and written communication
- Basic mechanical and technical aptitude
- Must be able to handle high pressure situations and adapt well to changes in the market
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, Outlook and Internet Explorer as well as the ability to learn the Company's business operating system
- Ability to apply teamwork principles when working with Company personnel
Work Environment
Work environment requires exposure to computer screen, typing/mouse usage, and extended periods of sedentary work. Ability to lift materials up to 25 pounds
Minimum Job Qualifications
- Associate degree, or 2 to 3 years of customer service and/or logistics experience (industrial experience preferred), or an equivalent combination of education and experience
