About the Role
Support mailroom, office services, supply management, facilities support, and customer service needs in a professional office environment. The Service Center Assistant should be reliable, organized, detail-oriented, physically able to perform the required duties, and comfortable supporting attorneys, business services personnel, and guests.
Responsibilities
- Open, sort, date, scan, and distribute incoming mail.
- Prepare outgoing mail, including USPS, FedEx, UPS, certified mail, and priority mail.
- Coordinate with delivery companies.
- Maintain records of mail movement and delivery.
- Ensure mail and packages are secure.
- Monitor and replenish mailroom, office, pantry, kitchen, conference room, and supply closet inventory.
- Receive supply shipments and check quantities against purchase orders; report discrepancies.
- Handle high-volume printing, scanning, binding, and document finishing.
- Replace toner in printers and copiers.
- Support document handling and hard filing.
- Assist with office moves and new hire office setups.
- Help maintain conference rooms, wellness rooms, mother’s rooms, and pantries.
- Assist with conference room setups.
- Provide professional service to attorneys, business services personnel, management, clients, and guests.
- Respond to inquiries and support departments as needed.
- Serve as backup support to reception.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of administrative, office services, mailroom, print production, hospitality, facilities, or maintenance experience.
- Experience with USPS, FedEx, UPS, mail handling, deliveries, or office supply management.
- Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organization and attention to detail.
- Customer service mindset and professional demeanor.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize.
- Ability to lift 40–50 lbs., move heavier items with assistance, and use carts.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, sit, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
