About the role
The Service Billing Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring Convergint Technologies becomes the customers' first choice for service. This role involves coordinating service with technicians, sub-contractors, and customers within designated CTC locations.
Responsibilities
- Answer, respond to, and meet the needs of all incoming customer service calls by handling these calls in a professional, efficient, effective, and timely manner.
- Coordinate service with technicians, sub-contractors, and customers within designated CTC location.
- Attend weekly planning sessions and conduct weekly service paperwork reconciliation.
- Manage annual preventative maintenance/inspection lists and coordinate technician schedules.
- Handle incoming customer calls including service dispatching, tracking and scheduling of calls, call status tracking, and call changes.
- May provide support and backup for other areas of the business, handle calls after hours, participate in quality assurance calls/inquiries to customers, and provide Service Quotes to customers.
- Complete projects and special assignments by determining priorities, managing time, and making adjustments to plans.
Requirements
- Exceptional telephone and personal customer service skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word skills.
- Solid organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and direction in a dynamic work environment.
- Shows initiative – regularly engages in proactive behavior and looks for opportunities.
- Strong ability to facilitate a collaborative working environment for customers and team members.
Qualifications
- Education: College degree, trade school, or equivalent experience.
- Diploma and/or certificate in Business Administration or related office experience preferred.
- Dispatch and customer service training preferred.
- Previous call center, dispatch, or administrative experience preferred.
- Experience in a construction industry environment preferred.
