Service Advisor-Writer

About the role

Campers Inn RV is seeking a Service Advisor/Writer to join our dynamic team. This position involves working directly with customers to schedule service work and communicate any additional service requirements.

Responsibilities

• Identifies RV problems and services by listening to customer descriptions of symptoms
• Verifies warranty and service contract coverage by examining records and papers; explains provisions and exclusions
• Develops estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor; calculates customer's payment, including deductibles
• Prepares repair orders (RO)
• Handles customer complaints and maintains high customer satisfaction standards
• Periodically checks on the progress of the vehicle during servicing and contacts the customer as needed to keep them updated with their RV's status

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required
• Experience: A minimum of one year’s RV service experience preferred
• Abilities: Demonstrated excellent oral and written communications skills, along with excellent interpersonal skills; ability to work flexible hours, as required; ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment; reliable and strong work ethic; commitment to superior customer service; ability to work independently as well as on a team; knowledge or ability to learn company computer systems applications, including Motility Systems2K, and other software applicable; ability to safely handle solvents and chemicals; ability to move RVs of various sizes; ability to reach above shoulders and lift a minimum of 50 pounds
