Service Advisor-Writer

Essential Job Functions

• Identifies RV problems and services by listening to customer's description of symptoms
• Verifies warranty and service contract coverage by examining records and papers; explaining provisions and exclusions
• Develops estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor; calculating customer’s payment, including deductibles
• Prepares repair orders (RO)
• Handles customer complaints and maintains high customer satisfaction standards
• Periodically checks on the progress of the vehicle during servicing and contacts the customer as needed to keep them up to date with their RV’s status

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required
• Experience: A minimum of one year’s RV service experience preferred
• Abilities: Demonstrated excellent oral and written communications skills, along with excellent interpersonal skills; Ability to work flexible hours, as required is essential. Hours may include, evenings, and weekends; Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment; Reliable and strong work ethic; Commitment to superior customer service; Ability to work independently as well as on a team; Knowledge or ability to learn company computer systems applications, including Motility Systems2K, and other software applicable

• Ability: Safe handling of solvents and chemicals; Ability to move RVs of various sizes; Ability to reach above shoulders and lift a minimum of 50 pounds
