Service Advisor-Writer

About the role

Campers Inn RV is seeking a Service Advisor/Writer to join our dynamic team. This position involves scheduling service work and communicating any additional service requirements to customers.

Responsibilities

• Identify RV problems and services by listening to customer descriptions of symptoms
• Verify warranty and service contract coverage by examining records and papers; explain provisions and exclusions
• Develop estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor; calculate customer's payment, including deductibles
• Prepare repair orders (RO)
• Handle customer complaints and maintain high customer satisfaction standards
• Periodically check on the progress of the vehicle during servicing and contact the customer as needed to keep them updated with their RV's status

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
• Experience: Minimum of one year’s RV service experience preferred
• Abilities: Excellent oral and written communications skills, excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work flexible hours, multitask in a fast-paced environment, reliable and strong work ethic, commitment to superior customer service, ability to work independently and on a team, knowledge or ability to learn company computer systems applications, including Motility Systems2K, and other software applicable
• Physical Abilities: Ability to safely handle solvents and chemicals, ability to move RVs of various sizes, ability to reach above shoulders and lift a minimum of 50 pounds
