Service Advisor Assistant
About the role
The Service Advisor Assistant at KIA, Summit Place KIA is responsible for providing outstanding customer service, building trust and respect with customers, listening and repeating back, using active listening to engage and understand vehicle issues and concerns, creating repair orders, clearly communicating vehicle needs to service technicians, communicating vehicle diagnoses and maintenance needs to customers, advising and selling needed work, following up to keep customers updated on their vehicles throughout the repair process, interacting with customers, vendors, and technicians in a professional manner at all times, maintaining a clean, safe, and professional Service Lane and Lounge, answering phones promptly throughout the day, being helpful and accommodating (scheduling and transportation), prominently displaying current promotions, and greeting customers promptly and enthusiastically at their vehicle.
Qualifications
- Experience advising automotive service customers and developing relationships with new and existing customers required.
- Dealertrack experience very helpful.
