Server Systems Administrator
About the role
As a Server Systems Administrator within Epic's Hosting entity, you will ensure our systems are in optimal condition to support healthcare organizations using our software. Your responsibilities include developing tools for operating systems, troubleshooting and debugging code, monitoring system health, creating disaster and contingency plans, sharing expert knowledge in systems and database administration, coordinating with third-party hardware vendors, and working on systems that push the edge of technology.

Requirements
A Bachelor's degree in Math, Physics, Engineering, MIS, or other hard science is preferred, but not required. A history of academic and professional success is expected, along with knowledge of Linux or Windows system administration, virtualization, scripting, automation, or DevOps processes. Traveling 1-2 weeks per year is required, and eligibility to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship is necessary. Relocation to the Madison, WI area (reimbursed) is also required.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $75,000 - $100,000 annually.
Schedule
The schedule for this position is 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift.
