Server Systems Administrator
About the role
As a Server Systems Administrator within Epic's Hosting entity, you will ensure our systems are in optimal condition to support healthcare organizations using Epic's software. Your responsibilities include developing tools for operating systems, troubleshooting and debugging code, monitoring system health, creating disaster and contingency plans, sharing expert knowledge in systems and database administration, coordinating with third-party hardware vendors, and working on systems that push the edge of technology.

Requirements
A Bachelor's degree in Math, Physics, Engineering, MIS, or other hard science is preferred. A history of academic and professional success is required, along with knowledge of Linux or Windows system administration, virtualization, scripting, automation, or DevOps processes. Willingness to travel 1-2 weeks per year is expected.
Qualifications
You must be eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship and available to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts. You must also be willing to relocate to the Madison, WI area (reimbursed).
Skills
Knowledge of Linux or Windows system administration, virtualization, scripting, automation, or DevOps processes is a plus, but not necessary.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $70,000 - $100,000 annually.
Schedule
This position is available on a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift schedule.
