Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional dining service by taking accurate food orders and serving appetizing meals to residents, family members, and guests.
  • Uphold high standards of table etiquette and assist with residents' meal and menu selections.
  • Engage with residents in a friendly manner, addressing their dining needs and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of dining areas, tables, and serving stations.
  • Track resident meal attendance and communicate with relevant team members for safety checks.
  • Break down deliveries, organize stock, wash dishes, and assist with other kitchen tasks as needed.
  • Aid in community marketing efforts by interacting positively with residents, family members, and guests.
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment by reporting safety issues and complying with safety standards and policies.
  • Support team members through mentorship, coaching, and recognition programs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or directed by supervisors.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Experience in restaurant operations or the ability to learn quickly.
  • Age 18 or older, or proper work permit and authorization documentation.
  • Completed required background clearances, health screenings, and negative TB tests.
  • Basic counting skills for tracking meals and residents.
  • Excellent communication skills, including English proficiency.
  • Ability to operate standard serving equipment and handle food safely.
  • Positive attitude and ability to interact professionally with all stakeholders.
  • Compliance with state-specific regulatory requirements, such as Food Handler Certification.

Qualifications
