JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Sits and takes accurate food orders from guests
- Maintains food distribution, ensuring meals are correctly served and food is prepared and presented attractively
- Checks station setup and cleanliness before, during, and after shift
- Absorbs all state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations regarding serving alcohol to minors and intoxicated guests
- Familiarizes themselves with all menu items, their preparation, and service procedures
- Totals checks, presents to guests, and accepts payment
- Assists with bussing tables
- Performs other duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of high school education, post-secondary education preferred
- Minimum of one (1) year in hotel/restaurant serving role
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Team player
- Ability to multitask
- Effective verbal communication
- Exceeds guest and team member expectations
- Operates available equipment, such as cash registers, calculators, etc.
- Basic mathematical skills for making change and giving refunds
- Flexible working hours and shifts
