Server (Part-Time)

Responsibilities

• Maintains a clean and sanitized work area by wiping tables, counter areas, beverage stations, sinks, and sweeping and mopping floors as required.
• Monitors and replenishes stock items in assigned area in a neat, accurate, and timely manner.
• Refills water glasses, coffee cups, butter/condiments, bread, and carries orders to tables as needed.
• Operates a cash register or POS system, rings proper amounts into the register, gives correct change, and maintains financial controls.
• Works as a team with the culinary team and servers to ensure coordinated work flow and customer satisfaction.
• Maintains all equipment in proper condition, including coffee machines, soda and juice dispensers, ice bins, service stations, and refrigerators.
• Ensures assigned work area is neat and clean throughout the shift.
• Resolves customer service issues promptly and professionally.
• Partners with the culinary team and servers to ensure coordinated work flow and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Knowledge of safety rules and operating and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to follow instructions and directions.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to respond to visual and oral cues.
• Ability to present a well-groomed appearance.
