Responsibilities

• Serve food and/or beverage, including order-taking, delivery, and clearing of any food and/or beverage items
• Check station before, during, and after shift for proper set-up and cleanliness
• Greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner and explain any specials and/or restaurant promotions
• Take orders and input them into the Point of Sale computer to inform the kitchen of the particulars
• Retrieve orders from the kitchen, confirm accuracy, and deliver them to guests
• Ascertain guest satisfaction throughout the meal service
• Abide by all state, federal regulations, and restaurant liquor policies pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests
• Work with a positive attitude in a team atmosphere
• Demonstrate dedication to becoming a "seller" and not an "order taker"
• Maintain strong attention to detail and adhere to all company specifications and quality standards
• Understand and practice safety and sanitation policies at all times

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Minimum of one year of previous serving experience preferred
• Ability to effectively communicate in English (verbal and written)
• Must have a courteous, friendly, and professional demeanor
• Ability to stand, walk, and carry food trays for prolonged periods of time
• Demonstrate a high level of organization, cleanliness, and a sense of urgency
• Flexible schedule—ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays
